1st reading entry

You need to write at least 50 words in a paragraph about something you have read in English this week. WRITE IN YOUR OWN WORDS. DON'T COPY! It can be from a book, magazine, newspaper, the Internet, or some other source. (1) If it's a book, include the name of the book. If it's from a magazine or newspaper, include the name of the magazine or newspaper AND the name of the article(s). If it's from the Internet, include the website. (2) Tell what you learned or what the story is about. (3) Make a list of at least 5 new words you learned from your reading.

• 100% of you have all the above and write in complete sentences with capital letters and periods (full stops)
• 90% You leave out 1 of the above
• 80% You leave out 2 of the above.
• 70% You leave out 3 of the above.
• 60% You have less than 50 words.
• 0% You copy most of it.
