Pandemic or Panic? Sample of a newspaper article

in The National newspaper, I read an article named "Pandemic or Panic?" It gives the history of swine flu in the United States. The author thinks that sometimes the media make such a sensation about this disease that it causes unnecessary fear or panic among people. There is also criticism that the World Health Organization and the manufacturers of swine flu vaccine may be over-reacting. However, he stresses that it is important to look for solutions to these problems.

The Kindness of Wolves - Sample from reading a book

I read a book named The Kindness of Wolves. This story happened around 1860 in a remote place in Canada. In the beginning, a man is killed, and a 17-year-old boy runs away. The police think the boy killed the man, but they also find another suspect, a trapper. The boy's mother and the trapper set out through the wilderness to find the real killer.
